CES 2017 @Las Vegas

In January every year, tech geeks from all around the world will gather to one place – Las Vegas to check the latest gadgets, no matter it’s big or small. That is the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show®) which marked the largest global gathering of innovation and showcased the connected future of technology. And CES 2017 is special because of the 50-year anniversary and CTA (Consumer Technology Association) promised a most diverse event experience in the show’s 50-year history.

According to the official press release: “With a record-breaking footprint of more than 2.6 million net square feet of exhibits, CES 2017 will feature new marketplaces, more than 850 first-time exhibitors, seven keynote addresses, expanded conference programming, additional SuperSessions and enhanced show floor services. With three main venue locations in Tech East, Tech West and Tech South and more than 24 product categories showcasing the hottest tech trends, expect to experience a whole lot of “whoa-ments” at CES 2017.” Some of the new exhibits categories included Sleep Tech, Smart Energy Tech as well as new show services such as Pandora stations and C Space Storyteller Sessions.

The latest emerging innovation across every industry takes center stage at CES 2017 to launch their new products in global markets from automotive, sports and fitness, software, healthcare, entertainment etc. For example, Qualcomm CEO Steve Mollenkopf introduced the 5G future; Under Armour announced their efforts on health and fitness tech incluing Record Equipped shoes; NVIDIA unveiled a new version of the Shield TV which support 4K HDR for both games and movies.

There are many Chinese leading companies participated in the event this year with their amazing products including Baidu Intelligent Systems, Huawei, Hisense, Xiaomi etc. They also presented their impressive influences at the show.
