In order to build more potential connections and get more insights of US security market, iseeBell participated in ISC East 2016 in New York City. The event gave us a lot of enlightenment on the market trend, product design iteration and improvement of user experiences.

ISC East was the Northeast United States’ largest security trade show which was held in November 16-17th 2016. Audiences for the show were able to meet with more than 225 leading domestic and international companies in security industry. All the state-of -art products and solutions covered various parts of the personal, business and public security factors including video surveillance, access control and smart home technologies etc.

In this event, cyber security is the hottest topic for the visitors and exhibitors. Thus, the ISC East this year invited Phil Celestini, FBI Section Chief, Cyber Division to keynote the event speaking on “The FBI View of Cyber Security – Threats, Trends & Protective Strategies.” Chief Celestini shared an assessment from the Bureau’s perspective of current and emerging threat trends related to data protection and privacy issues. He also highlighted recent cases and takedowns conducted by the FBI and its partners in response to data breaches and major cybercrime.

Besides the keynote speech, the ISC East this year launched a brand-new program “Tech Tank” which elected 5 vendors to pitch their new technology for 5 minutes live on stage. Attendees will vote for them to elect winner. Those vendors included Comelit for their Multi User Gateway Video Door Entry System, Make Em Move Manufacturing for their S5 Security Surveillance Robot etc.
